Helen J. Slack, 95, died Thursday, June 26, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Wallace L. Slack.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Philip and Stefania (Mulica) Jarmusz, she had been a resident of Warwick since 1958. She was employed at Leviton Mfg. and GE for 30 years until her retirement. She had a deep faith and was very active at St. Gregory the Great Church, where she loved to volunteer. She was also very active in the Sparrow Point Tenants Association and volunteered at the West Warwick Food Bank.

She was the beloved mother of Helen Miranda, Eileen Limoges and Ruth Nicastro and the late Wallace “Wally” Slack and Suzanne Slack. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Mary Sulewski and the late Stella Zdunczyk and Jean Kraidich.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Road.
