Come for a holiday showing of the Hollywood classic Meet Me in St. Louis (1944), starring Judy Garland, Margaret O’Brien, and Mary Astor, at the Warwick Public Library on Thursday, December 8 at 7 p.m. Judy Garland sings, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and honestly, that’s all we need to make this our 2016 holiday movie pick. You know you’ll be crying and feeling the season, so don’t miss the highlight of December festivities. For the sticklers out there who are wondering what the movie is about, Meet Me in St. Louis is a delightful piece of Americana about a Midwest family waiting for the 1904 World’s Fair to arrive in their hometown. For more information call 739-5440 x221. The library is located at 600 Sandy Lane. This event is free and open to all.
