Hueling Tsai Evans

Posted

Hueling Tsai Evans of Gaithersburg, Maryland passed into eternity suddenly and unexpectedly on August 24, 2015 at Georgetown University Hospital. Hueling was the beautiful wife of Tim Evans (formerly of Warwick); loving mother of Nicholas and Tiffany Evans; beloved daughter of Kuni Huang Tsai; devoted sister of Wanling and Chieh-lin; and true friend of countless others. She was pre-deceased by her father, Jin-tien Tsai.

Hueling was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Shih Chien University in Taipei and a Master's Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After graduate school, Hueling began a long career in hi-tech purchasing and project management, including positions at TTC, Hughes Network Systems, and Wabtec, and culminating as an amazing Financial/Administrative Officer for the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. She was also the dedicated principal of the Gaithersburg Chinese School (GCS). Hueling loved and adored her precious family who meant everything to her. She also enjoyed music, reading, shopping, gadgets, polka dots, authentic Chinese food, talking with people, and walking her dog, Milkshake. She had charm and a vibrant spirit that energized all around her, and the world was a better place because of her.

She also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Loretta Evans, father-in-law, Jack Evans, and his wife, Kim. She was also the beloved sister-in-law to Cathy & Steve Sullivan, Laurie & Mark Lyman, Pat Butler, John & Pam Evans, Cindy & Bob Morse, Reeny & Michael Puglia, and Terry McElroy. She was also loved very much by her nieces and nephews: Sean, Shannon, Eric, Danielle, Jake, Brianna, Haley, Mia, Shane, Brooke, and Jack. She was forever loved, and she will be forever missed.
