Human Trafficking of a Minor

The following is a Warwick Police Department Human Trafficking Investigation press release.

On Saturday, May 17, 2014 the Warwick Police Department initiated a sex trafficking investigation after speaking with the missing female juveniles’ mother. Members of the Uniform Patrol Division located the missing female juvenile at the Comfort Inn, 1940 Post Rd. in Warwick, and took her into custody.

The investigation was turned over to Members of the Warwick Police Department Detective Division. Based on an extensive investigation, warrants were drawn on three adult males to include a Terrence Dudley, 25 of North Kingstown, R.I. On June 22, 2014 warrants were issued for Sex Trafficking of a Minor and Conspiracy.

The Warwick Police Department received information, through Rhode Island’ Most Wanted, that Terrence Dudley had left the State of Rhode Island and was living in Ohio. The information was provided to the Fostoria, Ohio Police Department where Terrence Dudley was located and taken into custody.

Members of the Warwick Police Department Detective Division travelled to Fostoria, Ohio where Terrence Dudley was turned over to their custody. On Tuesday, October 28, 2014 Terrence Dudley will appear in Kent County District Court for arraignment.

The Warwick Police Department was assisted by the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General, the Fostoria Ohio Police Department and Prosecutors Office and the Seneca County Ohio Detention Facility.
