It's a "prep" rally

With state NECAP tests starting this week, the faculty at Randall Holden School “revved up” students to perform better than even with a preparation rally. Principal Kenneth Rassler, wearing his motorcycle helmet, gloves and sunglasses and using a bullhorn, set the tone and led opening cheers. Then, following suit, classes led cheers and pairs of the older students read posters they had helped make highlighting pointers on test taking. The test taking starts this week and continues for the next two weeks in grades 3 to 8 and 11. “We want to rev up NECAP scores,” said Rassler. Holden was placed in a “warning” category following last year’s test results.
