J. Donald Pichette, age 84, of Greenwich Farms, 75 Minnesota Avenue, Warwick, and formerly of Lydick Avenue, Warwick, died on Monday, May 9, 2016, at St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield. He was the husband of T. Shirley (Hogan) Pichette. Mr. and Mrs. Pichette were married for 64 years.

Born in Providence, the son of the late Gideon and Alfreda (Berneche) Pichette, he lived in Warwick since 1972. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Pichette was employed as a jewelry finisher with W.R. Cobb in Cranston until his retirement in 1996.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son, Donna J. San Souci of Warwick, John J. Pichette and his wife, Karen Hallinan of Warwick, and Mary A. Robin and her husband, Roger Robin of Foster; a sister, Annette Vandal of Cumberland; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late James D. Pichette.

His funeral will be held on Monday, May 16, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
