Jeanette Rugg, 83, of Brunswick Drive, died Tuesday at Riverview Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of Charles H. Rugg Jr., they were married for 56 years.
Born in Quincy Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Ettore and Anna (Dentino) Mariano. Jeanette worked as a book keeper for the J. Arthur Trudeau Center for 10 years before retiring.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Charles H. Rugg III and his, wife Karen of North Kingstown, Gary M. Rugg and his wife, Susan of Coventry, two daughters, Carolyn Marie Rode, and her husband, John of Warwick, and Christine M. Burns, and her husband Brian, of Warwick; two brothers, Remo Mariano of Quincy MA, and Anthony Mariano of Norwood, MA, two sisters, Mary DiSalvio, of Quincy, MA, and Judith Baker, of Framingham, MA; and was also the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren; she was the sister of the late Philip Mariano and Angelina Mariano.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Rose and Clement Church. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 p.m.
