John A. Fleming, Sr., "Johnny Ajax" (Olneyville John #1), 71, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27th. He leaves his loving wife Linda (Bruce) Fleming.

He was born in Providence the son of the late Edwin and Gertrude (Mann) Fleming. John owned and operated Ajax Auto Parts in Pawtucket for over 40 years. He welcomed all of his customers and friends with open arms and was loved in the auto industry. He closed Ajax Auto in 2005 and went to work for Cove Metal Company of Pawtucket until retiring in 2011.

Besides his wife, he leaves his four children John A. Fleming, Jr. of Warwick, Deborah Potter of Pawtucket, Eric Fleming of Providence, Patrick Fleming of Warwick; his stepdaughter, Crystal Bruce

of Providence; and ten grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Norman Mann and Bob Mann. John was a cousin to Davey Lopes of the L.A. Dodgers.

Our Dad was a dedicated family man. He will be dearly missed.

John's funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday morning 8:30-10:15 a.m. boyleandsonfuneralhome.com
