John E. Cronin, 87, passed away, Friday, July 18, 2014 at the West Shore Health Center. He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (Murphy) Cronin.
He was a son of the late John and Mary (Gilbride) Cronin. He was a retired foreman for Klitzner Industries. John was an avid Red Sox fan.
John was the beloved father of Michael E. and Kathleen A. Cronin; loving grandfather of John and his wife, Erica, Danielle, Scott and Greg; and loving great-grandfather of Hayden; brother of Donald Cronin, and the late Robert Cronin and Eileen McGovern.
His funeral will be held Monday, July 21, at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane.
