John P. Rigney, III, 38, passed away Friday January 8, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Providence, he was a beloved son of John P. and Gail Ann (Surrette) Rigney. John was employed for Exquisite Finishes Power Washing and formerly as a custodian for the Warwick School Department.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, William P. Rigney and his wife, Kimberly; grandmothers Madelyn Surrette and Marilyn Rigney. He was a grandson of the late Arthur Surrette and John Rigney.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4 – 8 p.m.
