John Ricci, Jr., 58, of Warwick passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John Ricci, Sr. and Barbara (Dailey) Ricci. John was a Boiler Operator for the Rhode Island Convention Center for 10 years and was previously employed with Federal Products, Inc. He was a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America Local 271. He was a graduate of Pilgrim High School and an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
He was the beloved brother of Joseph C. Ricci and his wife, Ethel of Warwick, Joan M. Ricci and her husband, Charles Hoar of Marco Island, FL, Margaret M. O’Brien and her husband, Barry of Warwick and Elizabeth B. Ricci and her husband, Bernard Russell of Asheville, NC. Loving uncle of Meghan O’Brien Greene, Joseph B. Ricci and Adam J. Ricci. Close friend of Joyce Hibbert of East Providence.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 pm in the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95).
