Jordan Firmino DeSousa, Jr., 29, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 in a snowmobiling accident in New Hampshire doing what he loved.

He was the beloved son of Jordan DeSousa and Kathleen A. (Duggan) DeSousa-Barlow and stepson of Kelly Carroccia and Howard Barlow. Jordan was an accomplished carpenter and had worked alongside his father from the age of 15 at Jordan DeSousa Carpentry LLC. He was a graduate of Warwick Veterans Memorial High School, Class of 2004. He lived his life to the fullest and loved to ride his motorcycle and snowmobile. A member of the New Bedford Rod and Gun Club, he was a gun enthusiast and military history buff.

He was the brother of Heather E. DeSousa and Jenna K. Carroccia; and grandson of William J. Duggan, the late Brenda (Howrigan) Duggan and the late Firmino and Lina (deAscencao) DeSousa.

His funeral will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
