Joseph A. Fontes, 61, a retired machinist and welder passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at home. He was the companion of Priscilla Davis and former husband of Patricia Cunningham.
Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Anita M. (Duquette) Fontes.
Joseph was the beloved father of Christine A. Woods and her, husband Christopher and Patricia A. Estrela and her husband, Joseph; loving grandfather of Christian, Joseph, and Nicholas; brother of Anita M. DeFontes, Philip D. Fontes, Jeanette G. Teauge, Janet D. Benson, Diane C. Bonnette, Doreen M. Hopkins, John A. Fontes and the late Michael C. Fontes and Stephen D. Fontes.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick.
