Joseph E. Gallucci, Sr., Esq., 88, of Warwick died March 4, 2016 at the West View Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of the late Lenora “Lee” A. (Santangini) Gallucci.

Born in Providence, Joseph was a son of the late Dominic and Angela (Regine) Gallucci. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1946, Providence College, Class of 1952 and Suffolk University Law School, Class of 1958. Joseph was an Attorney at Law for 55 years until retiring and was also a Bail Commissioner for Kent County for 30 years. Joseph was an avid boater and fisherman and a member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club. He also honorably served in the United States Army during World War II.

Joseph is survived by two daughters: Cara Gallucci Muir (Jeffrey) and Lisa Gallucci (Richard Moschetti); two siblings: Robert Gallucci (Marcia) of Jamestown and Judy Bitting (Chuck) of Wickford; and four grandchildren: Matthew and Jack Muir, Jessica Main and Angela Gallucci.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick (Exit 12-A off I-95) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
