Joe is survived by his daughters, Leslie Dwyer and Karen Hanson, and his sons, Paul (Christine) Hurtubise and Carl (Lee-Ann) Hurtubise. He is also survived by his brothers, Norman (Dot) Hurtubise and Ken (Donna) Lapre; grandchildren Doug (Samantha) Dwyer, Jennifer Morrison, Cheri Hurtubise, Tor Hansen, Jason (Jenna) Hurtubise, Tory-Lee Renaud, Jon-Erik Hurtubise and the fun guy who lit up his life in his later years, his great-grandson, Caeden Ireland Dwyer. Joe was loved by all, including his wonderful nieces and nephews and quite an extended family. Joe was predeceased by his sister, Jean McKenna.

There will be a celebration of life in the Trinity Church Hall on Ocean Ave., Cranston, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27.
