The Junior League of RI, Inc. (JLRI) will hold its Touch-A-Truck event at the Crescent Park Carousel, 700 Bullocks Point Avenue, Riverside, on Sunday, Sept. 13 from noon to 4 p.m.
Trucks and vehicles from a vast array of professions and services will be on display for the up-close enjoyment of children of all ages.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to ride the Crescent Park Carousel and the Roaming Railroad train and get their faces painted, while parents will get the chance to learn more about JLRI and its current focus on the issue of aging out of foster-care. A portion of the proceeds will go towards furthering the JLRI’s mission of training women to become community and civic leader. The event carries a suggested $5 donation.
