Kenneth T. Pollock, age 82, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Engstrom) Springer Pollock for 32 years.

Ken was born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Peter M. and Sara C. (Gaisford) Pollock, and lived in Warwick for 32 years. He was a proud United States Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. He earned a B.A. in sociology at Roger Williams University. Mr. Pollock was a textile designer at Universal Engravers in Providence for 32 years, retiring in 1996.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Greg Pollock of Coventry; two step-sons, Edward Springer of Warwick and Robert Springer of West Greenwich; a step-daughter, Cheryl Lataille of Florida; a brother, James S. Pollock of New York; and eight grandchildren. He was the father of the late Stephen Pollock.

His funeral service was held on Friday, May 23, in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial with military honors was in the Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.

In place of flowers, donations to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904, would be put to excellent use.
