Standing with Megan is, back from left, Megan’s mother, Kim; her aunt, Brenda Forgue; and her cousin, Mark Barone. Brenda and Mark were customers at Megan’s lemonade stand and helped her raise $150 for the Warwick Animal Shelter.

Megan Medeiros, 10, ran a lemonade stand in the parking lot at Hair Odyssey on Post Road on Aug. 11 to help raise funds for the Warwick Animal Shelter. Megan raised $150 in cash donations, as well as necessities for the shelter, such as dog bones, cat and dog toys, and bleach. Megan, shown here, and her mother, Kim Medeiros, dropped off the money and the items to the shelter on Aug. 12. (Submitted photos)
