Lena E. (Fera) Forde, age 89, of Larson Drive, Warwick, died on July 6, 2013, at home. She was the wife of the late William T. Forde, Jr., a former Providence funeral director.

Born in Johnston, a daughter of the late Carmine and Vincenza (DeLellis) Fera, she lived in Providence for most of her life, moving to Warwick in 2004. For the majority of her career, Mrs. Forde was an office manager at several different companies. Most recently she worked at State Rug in Cranston for 15 years, retiring in 1994.

She is survived by a son, William T. Forde, III of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, three daughters, Patricia A. Forde of Coventry, Maureen Mesolella and her husband, Agostino A. Mesolella of Warwick, and Elizabeth Forde-Proffitt and her husband, Albert E. Proffitt, III of Warwick; a brother, Raymond C. Fera of East Providence, a sister, Doris St. Pierre of North Providence; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
