The Conimicut Village Association annual Christmas tree lighting Friday at the village center was followed by a community gathering in the Woodbury Union Church where residents were treated to a medley of seasonal songs by the Aldrich Junior High School select chorus under the direction of Sandra Brown. Church lights were turned down and candlelight set the tone. Later, everyone joined in the church basement for refreshments, conversation and to get photographs as both children and adults met Santa.
