Linda M. (Bosinger) Bouressa, RN, 74, of Warwick passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Michael B. Bouressa, Sr. for over 51 years.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Henry M. and Mary A. (Martin) Bosinger. A Registered Nurse, Linda was employed with Kent Hospital for 46 years, retiring in 2009 and previously with Massachusetts General Hospital. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Kent Hospital Auxiliary and served on the executive board. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Linda lived her life to the fullest. She was a 50 year fan and student of Red Sox baseball and always tried to keep her friends aware of the latest trades and acquisitions. Every year, she looked forward to traveling to Florida for Spring Training, in spite of some flying fears which never deterred her. Linda loved sailing with her husband, children, and friends for many years, but mostly enjoyed reaching safe harbor. She adored her large family including 13 grandchildren and cherished her many deep friendships. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten by those who realized her unique presence. Her heart was homeport to anyone who sought shelter.

She was the loving mother of Susan L. Lloyd and her husband, David of Kingston, RI, Michael B. Bouressa, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Marshfield, MA, Karen E. Chasse and her husband, Bill of Smithfield, RI, Mark F. Bouressa and his wife, Jennifer of Warwick, Christopher D. Bouressa and his wife, Danielle of West Greenwich, and Gregory P. Bouressa and his wife, Christine of East Greenwich. Cherished grandmother of thirteen. Caring sister of Gina Bosinger Kelly of Plymouth, New Hampshire, Henry M. Bosinger of California, Eliot P. Bosinger of Florida, Jim W. Bosinger of Ohio, and Bobby O. Bosinger of Florida.

Her funeral was held on Monday, May 4 from the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick with a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Calling hours were held on Sunday.
