Louis R. Zoglio, Jr., 76, passed away Tuesday February 21, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family, he was the beloved husband of Sandra (Middlemiss) Zoglio and the late Janet (Faiola) Zoglio.
Born and raised in the Silver Lake section of Providence, Louis was a son of the late Louis R. and Dorothy (Cunningford) Zoglio, Sr. He worked for Paolino Properties for many years, before retiring. Louis was an avid fisherman and enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra. He loved his family and grandchildren dearly.
He was the loving father of Louis A. Zoglio, Maryellen Lastarza Zoglio, and Christina L. Santilli; devoted grandfather of Jacqulyn, Melanie, Daniel, Jennifer, Nicole, Angelina, and the late, Melissa; great-grandfather of Tyler, Cidalia, Alexandria, and Giavanna; brother of Arnold Zoglio, MaryAnn Carnevale, Robert Zoglio, and the late Kathleen Robins.
His funeral will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Friday 4-7 p.m.
