Louise M. (Miller) Kingsley, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Bruce Kingsley.
She was a daughter of the late William and Lila (Greene) Miller. Mrs. Kingsley was a member of the Woodbury Union Church Presbyterian, an incorporator and volunteer at Kent Hospital, a board member of the Kent Hospital Auxiliary, board member of the Kent County Nurses Association and an avid reader and bridge player.
Mrs. Kingsley was a Gold Star Mother of the late Donald B. Kingsley, Jr., a Green Beret with the United States Army, and is survived by one son, Scott M. Kingsley and his wife, Christine; one brother, William J. Miller, Jr.; three sisters, Marion Snell, Irene Bolen and Dorothy Newton; two grandchildren, Robyn E. Kingsley, Elizabeth K. McQuaid and her husband, Adam; and their daughter, Alexa McQuaid.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. in the Woodbury Union Church Presbyterian, 58 Beach Ave. at West Shore Rd. Burial will be private.
