To the Editor:
I was pleased to see that a great organization like East Greenwich Animal Protection league is seeking to make Cranston its permanent home.
A little over two years ago, we adopted from EGAPL. The dedicated and caring team introduced us to a slightly thin Red Tick Coon Hound named Big Red. While they didn’t know Red’s full history, he had clearly been neglected and likely abused. The tremendous people at EGAPL not only helped Red back on his road to recovery but patiently walked us through the process of making sure we’d provide the right home for him. Two years later Red is a happy, healthy and goofy member of our family.
Thanks to the EGAPL for all they do for animals. We are happy to welcome them to Cranston.
