Luigi DiBenedetto, 90, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Gloria (DiCecco) DiBenedetto.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Vincenzo and Luisa (Paolino) DiBenedetto. Luigi worked as a machinist for the Leesona Corporation for many years before his retirement.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children Robert DiBenedetto and his wife, Louisa of Warwick and Joanne DiBenedetto of Aurora, Colorado; cherished grandchildren: Lilia Rivera, Napua Samoa, Elizabeth Samoa, Robert DiBenedetto, Jr.; and dear sister Luisa Rainone of Johnston. He was the brother of the late Felix and Achille DiBenedetto, Conchetta Forte, Antonette Spremulli.
Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Kevin’s Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m.
