Marjorie L. “Margie” (Fox) Brooks, age 74, of West Shore Road, Warwick, died on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at West Shore Health Center in Warwick.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Manuel J. and Hazel C. (Boyd) Fox, she lived in Warwick for over 40 years.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Steven M. Lemos (Karen) of Cranston, William J. Lemos (Amy) of St. Augustine, FL, Robin L. Flynn (John) of Warwick, Penny E. Neves (Roy) of North Scituate, and Donald J. Brooks, Jr. of Cranston; a brother, Manuel J. Fox, Jr. of Warwick; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Jorie Lee Brooks and James Lemos, and the sister of the late James E. Fox and Jeffrey Chalmers.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10, at 11:15 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
