After relocating to the historic Oaklawn neighborhood from Johnston, the accounting firm Buco & Buco, LLC commissioned two collages to give clients and visitors a visual history of their firm. The company worked with Larisa Martino, of Larisa Designs in Cranston, an artist who creates fine art for corporate and healthcare facilities. In order to get an understanding of Buco & Buco's journey as a company, Martino spent hours completing research at both the Oaklawn and Central Cranston Libraries, obtaining copies of maps, photos and old newspaper articles which she pieced together to create the two collages for Buco & Buco. "I found it very interesting. I've been living in Cranston myself for about twenty years, but I didn't realize how extensive the history was," Martino said. "It [the collage] is not only a history of the firm, but of Cranston as well."
