Mary A. Lamont, 86, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Kent Hospital.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Paul A. and Mary A. (Orcutt) Lamont. Mary was co-owner with her sister of the former Bay Shore Card & Gift Shop on West Shore Road.
She was the sister of the late Jeanne A. Ballard, Paul A. Lamont, Jr. and Edward A. Lamont. She is survived by eight nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-nephew.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 17, at 8:45 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
