Mary (Bennett) LaMake, 96, of Warwick passed away on February 27, 2014 at Greenwood Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. LaMake.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Mary M. (Barry) Bennett. Mrs. LaMake was a machinist for Whittet-Higgins Co. in Providence and Central Falls for 24 years until her retirement in 1980. She was a past matron of O.E.S. Signet Chapter #21, past member of the Rainbow Girls and a member of Grand Cross of Color, Sparrow Point Tenants Association and St. Barnabas Church.

She was the beloved mother of Joan E. Patnaude of Warwick, Margaret J. Sandin of Coventry and Doris L. Rossi of Warwick. Loving grandmother of three, and the late Candice Brown. Cherished great-grandmother of seven; and great-great-grandmother of one. Caring sister of James Bennett of Warwick and the late Arthur, George, William, Charles and Frank Bennett.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95).
