Mary H. (O’Brien) Moore, age 92, of 75 Minnesota Avenue, Warwick, died on July 9, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Eugene F. Moore.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Clara (Jacques) O’Brien she lived in Warwick for 40 years. Mrs. Moore was a clerk/typist for the Rhode Island Department of Employment Security for 30 years, retiring 22 years ago. She served as a mentor with the Warwick Mentor Program for 10 years. Mrs. Moore was a member of St. Timothy Church and St. Timothy’s Women’s Club, and a member of St. Benedict Circle Daughters of Isabella.

She was the loving mother of Mary Jean Henderson of Framingham, Massachuesetts, Nancy M. Griggs of Los Angeles, California, Arlene F. McNulty of Warwick, and Gene F. Moore, M.D. of Williston, Vermont; and the devoted grandmother of nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Helen Maguire.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 13, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
