Mary M. (DuBois) Callanan, 84, formerly of Church Avenue, Warwick passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Steere House. She was the wife of the late William M. Callanan.
Born in Oneida, New York, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Daly) DuBois. Mrs. Callanan was an Executive Secretary for American Universal Insurance Co. until her retirement. She was also an antique dealer and a member of the R.I. Antique Dealers Association. Mrs. Callanan was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs School.
She was the beloved mother of Paul F. Callanan of Lafayette, Colorado, Therese M. Callanan of Warren, Jeannine M. Callanan of Warwick and the late William M. Callanan, Jr. Loving grandmother of Ian, Tyler, Ryan and Christopher. Caring sister of Regina DuBois Southall of Florida and the late Arthur, John, Thomas and Bernadine DuBois and Rita Rice.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours respectfully omitted.
