The Rhode Island SPCA will host its 14th Annual Marvin Memorial Walk for Animals fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. at Goddard State Park in Warwick.
The event will feature a one-mile walk through the beautiful wooded trails of Goddard State Park, dog costume contest and best pet trick contest, rock climbing wall, vendors, caricaturist and photographer doing pet portraits, raffles, prizes for top fundraisers and lunch.
Admission to the event is free. Friendly dogs welcome. All proceeds from the event will go toward helping the homeless animals at the Rhode Island SPCA by providing food, shelter, veterinary care, and a chance for a new home. Visit www.rispca.com for more information.
