Military Service Academy applicants reminded of Nov. 1 deadline

Posted

Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) is accepting applications for students interested in attending Military Service Academies. Applications must be mailed, and should be received at Langevin’s Warwick office by Friday, Nov. 1.

“One of the greatest privileges and responsibilities of being a member of Congress is the ability to nominate talented young Rhode Islanders to the U.S. Service Academies,” Langevin said. “I look forward to reviewing this year’s applications and showing the U.S. Military Academies what high caliber students we have here in Rhode Island.”

Applicants must be residents of the 2nd Congressional District and be between the ages of 17 and 23. Applications can be downloaded on Langevin’s website at Langevin.House.gov.
