The Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their sequel Movies in the Park Night at Rocky Point, planned for tonight.
Featuring the hit family movie “Minions,” the free and open to the public event will feature food trucks, face painting booths, entertainment and a rock wall provided by the Rhode Island National Guard. This event will also use two viewing screens, one of which will provide captioning for the hearing impaired. The movie will begin at dusk, and free, in-the-park parking will be available. Patrons may bring in items to make their evening comfortable, such as blankets, food, lawn chairs and bug spray, which is recommended. Food trucks will be onsite, with online menus available prior to the event. For more information visit www.moviesintheparkri.com.
