My favorite burgers

There is nothing better than a burger. I get my variety from trying many different restaurants, and when I find a burger that is really good, I’ll go back and have it again.

The best burger in the world is at Twin Oaks, the only place I would think of ordering a “ground beef” dinner. And they will cook it rare for you. Other places we enjoy include:

Better Burger Company, Providence - Blue Moon Burger with crumbled blue cheese, mushrooms and fried onion strings, plus any other “fixins” you want to add ($6.99 for an 8-oz. burger).

Razzle-Salmon Burger, Cranston - Fresh salmon ground with fresh herbs and spices, topped with tangy pineapple salsa on a toasted bulky roll with a side of Belgian seasoned wedges ($11.95).

Luxe, Providence - Build-Your-Own Burger in 9 steps. Gold Label beef, medium, blue cheese, caramelized onions, pastrami, chipotle mayo, whole wheat bun, and a side of sweet potato fries. ($8.99).

Harry’s, Providence - Two Bacon cheeseburger sliders with Hereford Beef ($4.69) and side of haystack onion strings ($3.49).

L’Attitude, Cranston - Bare Naked Burger - Half pound choice ground beef on bulky roll ($7). Add provolone cheese, raw onion, caramelized onion, portabella mushrooms, banana peppers, sweet red peppers for 50 cents each.

Ozzie’s Steakburgers – Warwick - They claim over a million combinations to choose from. Pick your cheeses, sauces, toppings ranging from avocado and arugula to Vidalia onions. ($6.50-$8.50).

We’ve yet to try Red Robin in Warwick, but we hear it is good and hope to get there soon.
