(Nonstop action on airplane)

You won’t see this one on a flight to London.

Liam Neeson stars as Bill Marks, a federal air marshal with a troubled past and a drinking and smoking problem who doesn’t even like to fly. He is working the red eye from New York to London when he gets text messages on his secure cell phone threatening to kill someone every 20 minutes if he doesn’t transfer $150 million to an offshore account.

His job, and the job of the audience, is to find out who is sending the messages and why. Dozens of red herrings are thrown at us as he and we try to figure out what is going on.

There are the usual suspects: an Arab, a skinhead, a black dude, a shifty-eyed guy and even his friendly seatmate (Julianne Moore). Mark acts irrationally and raises suspicion among the passengers and his superiors as he is suspected of being the terrorist.

The action is nonstop and will keep you guessing right up until the seemingly implausible conclusion. Neeson is very good and worth the price of admission, even if you may be a bit overwhelmed with the ending.

Rated PG-13, with some profanity, violence and some very tense moments.
