Nancy J. (Cotter) Gagnon

Nancy J. (Cotter) Gagnon, age 77, of Lafayette Road, North Kingstown, and formerly of Warwick, died on November 24, 2013 at the South County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late Victor R. Gagnon.

Born in New Britain, Connecticut, a daughter of the late John J. and Grace D. (McGregor) Cotter, she lived in Warwick before moving to North Kingstown in 1990. Mrs. Gagnon was a parish secretary at St. Peter Church in Warwick, and at St. Bernard Church in North Kingstown, before retiring. She was a member of the North Kingstown Senior Center.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. “Beth” Gagnon-Glasberg of North Kingstown, a son, David M. Gagnon of Mapleville; a sister, Ann Kellum of Nakomis, Florida; and four grandchildren, Mark Glasberg, Dennis Glasberg, Hailey Gagnon and Kyle Gagnon. She was the sister of the late Judith Rayner.

Her funeral was held on Wednesday, November 27, from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Visiting hours were Tuesday. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
