Nancy J. (Nolan) McMahon, 76, a retired LPN, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John T. McMahon for 36 years.
She was a daughter of the late Edward W. and Elizabeth C. (McCabe) Nolan.
Nancy was the beloved mother of Mary F. Biello, Ann Marie Jones, Maureen P .McGhie, John J. McMahon, Michael P. McMahon, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Kathleen M. Haun, Margaret M. Garrett, and the late Christine M. McMahon. She is survived by 35 grandchildren, and a great-grandson. She was the grandmother of the late Andrew M. Mathers, Matthew E. McGhie, and Katherine E. Flynn; sister of Elizabeth McCaughey, Edward Nolan, Mary Rose Nolan, John Nolan, Frances Pangborn, and the late Austin Nolan.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church, Long St. at 11 a.m. Burial will be St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm.
