The Sea View Drive bridge in Oakland Beach, which the city’s Department of Public Works replaced in recent weeks, should re-open once the decking and railing are in place, says the department’s acting director David Picozzi. With the exception of hiring a crane and operator to lift the sections of cast concrete culvert into place, the work was done by city crews. Picozzi speculated delivery of the railings could delay completion of the project.
