New homes on the way

The “Curious?” sign that had people asking what was happening to vacant land on West Shore Road has come down and with the rise of walls last week, the cat is out of the bag. Developer Hugh Fisher said last week that the first eight units of the 23-unit condominium project – Wyndemere – should be finished in the spring with a model unit open by mid-February. Each of the units includes a single-car garage and range in size from 900 to 1,300 square feet. Prices start in the range of $160,000 to $170,000. Fisher said he already has a number of reservations for the “women-centric” units that are built to meet the buyer’s preferences. At right, is a rendering of the complex. (Warwick Beacon photo)

They look nice. Definitely a big improvement over a bombed out empty lot.
