Last year, one of the members of the Norwood Neighborhood Association observed a break-in in progress. He called the police, and the person was arrested. The homeowners were spared the grief of a break-in. To continue this level of vigilance, the Norwood Neighborhood Association will host a crime watch meeting Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Norwood Boys & Girls Club, 43 Frederick St., presented by the community police. Learn how to become a crime preventer and not a victim. All are welcome and refreshments will be served.
