Ocean State Theatre Company will hold open children and teen auditions for its 2015-16 productions of “It’s a Wonderful Life The Musical,” “1776” and “The Miracle Worker.”
Those auditioning should bring their headshot or a recent photo and resume (if available). Those auditioning for either “It’s a Wonderful Life The Musical” or “1776,” should come with a short prepared song, preferably with sheet music. A cappella is also acceptable. No tape recorders or CD players. Those asked to stay may learn a short dance combination and/or be asked to do cold readings from the script.
Those interested in being considered for “The Miracle Worker” should be prepared to act out children’s nursery rhymes without using any words. They will also be asked to do cold readings from the script. Information on times and conditions for each of the shows is available at www.OceanStateTheatre.org.
