Paul Tobin

Paul Tobin, 77, of Post Rd. died March 31, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Donna (Remington) Tobin.

Born in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, a son of the late William and Theresa (Gadoury) Tobin, he has been a Warwick resident for 18 years. Paul was the head of maintenance for the Airport Business Center for 14 years and prior to that at Kenny Manufacturing and Spiedel. He had also been a machinist and toolmaker for Electric Boat for 10 years.

He was a member of Trinity Church in Cranston where he had served as a Junior Warden. He was a long time member and past president of the Pawtuxet Athletic Club, a member of the Gaspee Day Committee and former harbormaster for Warwick and Cranston. Paul loved to golf.

Besides his wife, he leaves his two daughters: Kathleen Cote and Patricia Habib, both of Warwick, two stepsons: Eric Blue of South Kingstown and Cory Blue of Warwick; and six grandchildren. He was the brother Arthur Tobin of Rehoboth and the late Roland Tobin.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Trinity Church, 139 Ocean Ave., Cranston. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence.
