The Gaspee Days arts and crafts festival, a major fundraiser for the annual celebration, was blessed with three days of great weather and a large turnout on Narragansett Parkway this holiday weekend. The 50th Gaspee Days anniversary celebration continues on June 5 with a performance of the Warwick Symphony Orchestra followed by fireworks on Friday, June 5. The parade steps off June 13 and the celebration culminates the following afternoon with a symbolic burning of the Gaspee in Pawtuxet Cove.
