IT KEPT GOING AND GOING: This is the third year the salon and tattoo parlor have held an event with all proceeds for the day benefiting Rhode Island Pink Heals. Staff who volunteered their time worked almost to midnight to raise more than $5,000 for the cause. Ted Dion, president of the chapter, said 100 percent of the funds would go to assisting families whose members are fighting cancer with donations of food, home heating oil and other essentials.
