Little did Paul Earnshaw, president of the Buckeye Brook Coalition, realize he picked the best day of the weekend when he settled on Sunday for the annual paddle excursion of the Brook. Earnshaw chose the weekend because of the tides, the highest of the year. The group is seen entering Mill Cove on the start of the upstream paddle to the culvert at West Sore Road.
