A North Kingstown man told police he was visiting his girlfriend on Forrest Street the night of May 25 and returned to his car around 1 a.m. only to realize his car wasn’t there anymore. The 22-year-old said the car was a silver 2001 Toyota Camry that actually belonged to his father but he was the primary operator of the vehicle that was valued at $3,500. The boy’s father told police there was some expensive baseball equipment in the car, and the officer who later found the vehicle at Strand and Crockett Streets said the equipment was still in the car. The owner checked out the car later and said there was nothing missing from the vehicle and it was driven back to North Kingstown with no further incident. No suspects or witnesses.

No suspects or witnesses.

Police were sent to the NYLO Hotel on Knight Street around 3:20 p.m. on May 27 for a similar report of a car damaged by a piece of asphalt paving that was used to break the rear passenger window of a 2003 Mitsubishi.
