Shake off the election blues, or, perhaps, sustain the euphoria with an invigorating Yoga Dance class with instructor Mary Scannell at Warwick Public Library on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
Yoga dance uses a blend of guided and spontaneous movements to promote fitness and to relieve tension and stress. The class starts with planned steps and eventually sets dancers free to create their own patterns of movement.
Everyone can yoga dance because the dancers make it as vigorous or as gentle as they choose. Dress comfortably and come for an hour of music and movement.
Mary Scannell is a certified Kripalu Institute yoga dance instructor.
