I enjoyed your recent article about the “new” Dave’s Marketplace at Hoxsie Four Corners. Eight years ago I moved to the Riverview area from Cowesett. I had been shopping at the beautifully appointed Dave’s in East Greenwich for many years. I was somewhat disappointed with the Hoxsie store’s appearance, but I appreciated their great produce, wonderful prepared foods, quality meats and seafood and, most importantly, the great customer service. I was very happy when I saw that Gary Sieczkiewicz, formerly of the East Greenwich Dave’s, was the manager of the Hoxsie store. From a customer’s perspective, I find Gary to be an excellent manager: always helpful, friendly, cheerful and a wonderful representative of the Dave’s brand.

I commend Gary and his great staff for working so hard to minimize the confusion and aggravation of shopping in the Hoxsie store while it was under construction. The store is, as Gary always responds when I ask him how he’s doing, “fantastic.”
