Lawrence Corrente III has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He is a veteran of the Afghanistan War. He has been the subject of numerous meritorious awards throughout his enlistment. He is a 2003 graduate of Universal Technical Institute of Phoenix, Ariz. and a 2001 graduate of Pilgrim High School. The son of Lawrence Corrente Jr. of North Carolina and Mary Corrente of Warwick, he currently resides in Wilmington, N.C.
